Qosmo International School is a small school with very minimal facilities but with teachers who genuinely care for the students. They are very dedicated in guiding the students in the school work as well as preparing them for the future. Qosmo’s signature Programmes are designed to teach the students how to practically apply what they learn in the classroom in their own lives.
The Child’s Early Educational Experience
Qosmo’s educators believe that hands-on, practical approach is the most important part of a child’s education. The little ones must be actively involved in their lessons as they develop. Cambridge has set developmental milestones to reach during the Pre-school years. Their teachers work alongside parents to develop the children’s ability, spatial awareness, and confidence as they learn how to learn with their peers while enjoying a playful, exciting, and nurturing environment. Each student will have a diary to show to their parents, documenting their educational journey built throughout the years.
Primary
Qosmo’s signature RISE Programmes, specially developed for primary students, are designed to teach them how to practically apply what they learn in the classroom in their own lives.
The aim of the school’s Cambridge Primary programmes is to help the children to develop a range of knowledge and skills within the core subjects, providing a solid foundation upon which to build for later stages of education. The Cambridge system is a flexible system which allows the school to employ various kinds of methodology of their own. All the teachers undergo special training in order to be able to observe, teach, assess, and guide the primary students while also attending to their psychological needs and development at that early age.
Secondary
The Secondary Programme forms part of the Cambridge International Curriculum, which takes students from the primary stage through to university entrance level. At this level, they will also begin their checkpoint examinations in order to track their progress and demonstrate to their parents how they fare against the international standard.
The programme provides a solid continuation to more advanced levels for children coming in from their primary education and develops their knowledge and skills in Mathematics, English and Science as they prepare for their IGCSE Exams in their last year of study.
During the secondary years they will integrate another signature programme called the SOAR Programmes which will teach the students the same principles as in the primary RISE programmes at a higher level, but through more realistic simulations, activities, field trips, as well as contests.
Here are a few examples of Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) offered:
- Board Games Club
- Chess Club
- Zumba
- Yoga
- Crossfit Training
- Origami Club
- Coding Club
Special Needs
The school accepts students with special needs and learning disabilities. However, they would need to access all applicants to ensure that they are able to effectively cater for the students’ needs before they are accepted into QIS.

REVIEWS
While it may look small and unappealing compared to larger schools, the people that make up this school have hearts larger than life. They genuinely care and aren’t run on a corporate mindset. I have never felt more motivated to study and go to school everyday than I have in this school. Even though lessons have been done online for the past year due to the MCO, the teachers go the extra mile to make us have the best possible learning experience.
I find the principal genuinely wanted us to succeed in school and in life and this was done by more than just words, but by action. Mr Branden Lanza is a great person, friend, principal. I received a lot of help and counselling in my choice of tertiary education until I was able to reach a decision and even helped me get in touch with the college and guided me right up to signing the application form.
